Love and Kindness Independent
Church is a small non-denominational
church. With seating for just 55-60, Love and Kindness
is a great place to grow in the Lord. Come experience a personal
relationship with Jesus, with no dress code. Learn to use your talents
serving the Lord. Our congregation represents a variety
of religious upbringings and ages. From 3 to 83, you'll find someone your
age. Kids want to come back every week. The mostly 30 something church, will welcome you with open arms. We are a mix of religious backgrounds from
Non-denominational to Methodist, to Baptist, to Pentecostal and Catholic. Our teachings focus on Jesus. Our
church has moved to upbeat contemporary praise and worship with video PowerPoint
sermons and video sermon illustrations. If your tired of the Ho-Hum,
same old same old... hard to stay away kind of Sunday morning, then you'll fit
right in. We love God and we are who are we are. We do not and won't
compromise the Word of God. Love and Kindness is active in the
community and believe our children are number one. From carnival passes
during festival time, to fun events throughout the year, we believe in just
keeping it real. Come and see what the Lord is doing. Bring your
bible and join us.

Love and Kindness Ministries will be hosting a Southern Gospel Music Legend in Concert May 4 at Spencer Middle School when The McKameys comes to town for one event. The McKameys have 25 #1 Southern Gospel Hits that fans love including God on the Mountain. Special guest will be Forgiven 4. Tickets are on sale at WVRC Radio our cosponsor beginning March 26. The church has just purchased a church van for transportation to Sunday morning services. If you are interested in a ride, please send us a note. If you need a ride e-mail us at toby@loveandkindnesschurch.com and we'll have someone call you. We will serve the Spencer area.

The church hosts the concessions stand at the Bluegrass Riding Club in Spencer the second Saturday of each month through the riding season.

The church hosts the free Samaritan's Closet distribution of personal hygiene products from 8-10 the third Saturday of each month. No income guidelines. The project is for those that have fallen on hard times and need a hand up.

The church spearheaded the Official Roane Homecoming celebration Labor Day weekend. The event included a Tribute to the American Spirit ceremony featuring David Beamer whose son Todd was killed on United Flight 93. He was joined by Adjutant General James Hoyer and other dignitaries.
